Contact Number : 07830121643 Email : man01murali@gmail.com   This year marks the 27th Anniversary of EMCC (East Ham Malayalee Cricket Club).This is a celebration of more than just one cricket team as 27 years ago this was the bud that has now flowered into the thriving UK Malayalee Cricket League (UKMCL). The UKMCL attracts Malayalee cricketers across the UK and has become a major platform to unite the Malayalee community in the good spirit of the game. This EMCC family will not be the same without it’s father, Captain Raji Gangadharan. A member from the initial team setup 25 years back (he has the grey hairs to prove it), he has been a corner stone to all that is EMCC. Raji continues to attract and inspire talented cricketers, to play as one and promote the spirit of the game. The management team behind EMCC provides the support to put together this finely tuned machine. The UKMCL was formed on the 20th November 2004 and transformed the game to the League format we know and love today. A very capable League Board and Working Body went about to organise and promote Malayalee cricket across the UK. As the years have flown past, there is a marked improvement in the standard of cricket played. All participating teams have talented individuals and characters that light up the event on their day. This has led to the league being highly competitive season after season. It is therefore, with great pride that EMCC can state that we have won the league for five out of the seven seasons to date. This achievement is truly an inspirational one for me and one that I am proud to have been a part of. The current crop of players we have include a fine balance of talent, youth and experience. I have purposely not dropped any names as I can’t do justice without listing all our players. The EMCC success draws strength from all our past and present players and hats off to everyone who has contributed over the years. Our sponsors and the many supporters that travel with us also deserve a special mention for all the efforts they have put in each season.
