Formed in 1993 by a group of friends at Croydon, the team has been a permanent fixture in UKMCL ever since its inception. The team has a rich heritage of having many prominent players being part of the club over this period. Phoenix has won League cup three times and was League runner up in two occasions. Team Phoenix believes in playing with true spirit of the game with absolute professionalism and commitment to the sport and intend to provide right opportunity for all team members to express themselves; The team is guided by experienced players like Manilal Raman (Manny), Venu Pillai, Badsha Karim, Manilal V who are active members of UKMCL and played a key role in promoting cricket within Croydon and London. They are supported by a team of passionate players to form a fine balance of experience and talent. Team Phoenix is looking forward for a successful UKMCL 2018 outing.
